Did you attend ECC?
I attended ECC in the Fall of 1984 and then went on to Mizzou, but after only one semester at ECC, I knew “how to college”!

It is all about the students, creating an environment where they can thrive intellectually and creatively.

I play drums for an indie-rock band, Soft Crisis
If you could visit a famous person from the past, who would it be?

Chicken wings

Dr. Isaiah Kellogg

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had dreams about flying. I would probably immediately crash face-first into an airborne goose at 700 mph and explode.
Did you attend a community college?
I didn’t attend a community college, but I wish I had! I could have saved myself tens of thousands of dollars.
Name a hobby or interest that might surprise people
I like to make costumes and props and cook cuisine from around the world.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at ECC?
Try everything. Do stuff outside of your comfort zone. Join a club that sounds interesting, even if it’s not related to your major.

I graduated from ECC in 2021, then from UMSL in 2023. I am happy to say that I am back at ECC as a staff member!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Telekinetic abilities – It would be cool to move objects with my mind, and I would never have to worry about dropping anything ever again!
Is there a place on campus that’s special to you?
The theater is incredibly special to me. I was a student worker for the theater and have so many fond memories of working on shows, learning as much as I could, and enjoying it as a creative outlet.
First thing you’d do if you won the lottery.
I would share my winnings with my family and friends, then go on a refreshing vacation.
